Terms of service

RBS Emden LLC. Effective August 22, 2026

These terms apply to services performed and equipment sold by RBS Emden LLC ("RBS Emden", "we", "us"), 47 Pleasant Street, Suite BS, Northampton, MA 01060. Custom vehicle builds by RBS Customs LLC are governed by the RBS Customs terms of sale.

Quotes and orders

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Equipment orders are confirmed when the deposit is received. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, shipping and site preparation unless the quote says they are included. Shipping is estimated at quote and billed at actual cost.

Scheduling, delivery and site access

Service calls are scheduled within two to five business days in the core service area. New equipment ships freight from the manufacturer, typically two to six weeks after deposit, and is installed the week of delivery. You agree to provide safe access to the work area, a clear bay and the electrical and air supply required by the equipment manufacturer. Time spent clearing obstacles or waiting for access is billed as labor at the quoted rate.

Inspections

Inspection findings reflect the condition of the equipment on the date of inspection. A lift that does not pass should be taken out of service until repaired. We are not responsible for equipment that is used after it has been reported unsafe.

Payment

Service invoices are due on receipt. Equipment balances are due on installation. Approved commercial and government accounts may be extended Net 30 terms. Accepted methods: card, ACH debit, bank transfer and check. Invoices unpaid 30 days after the due date may be charged interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less, and we may suspend scheduled work until the account is current. Charges appear on statements as RBS EMDEN LLC.

Warranty

New equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. Our labor is warranted for 90 days from the date of service against defects in workmanship. Parts supplied by us are warranted for 90 days or the manufacturer's warranty, whichever is longer. Warranty does not cover misuse, overloading, modification or failure to maintain the equipment.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a service visit or equipment sale is limited to the amount paid for that visit or equipment. We are not liable for lost profits, downtime or consequential damages.
