Every job is quoted in writing before work starts. These are the typical ranges for RBS Emden LLC so you know what to expect. All prices in US dollars, plus applicable sales tax.
Service calls and repair
- Service call
- Flat trip and diagnostic rate, quoted at booking. Typically $350 to $500 within the core service area, covering travel and the first hour on site.
- Labor
- Hourly after the first hour, quoted per job. Most single-lift repairs finish within two to three hours.
- Parts and supplies
- Billed at the quoted price; shop supplies itemized. Shipping on special-order parts billed at actual cost.
- Fuel surcharge
- Applied outside the core area and quoted before dispatch.
ALI certified inspections
- Per lift
- Typically $150 to $350 per lift, depending on type (two-post, four-post, in-ground, alignment rack with rolling jacks) and how many lifts are inspected on the same visit.
- Included
- Written report per lift, inspection labels for passing lifts, repair estimate for any lift that does not pass.
- Multi-site
- Fleet and dealership groups are quoted per location with an annual schedule.
New lifts and installation
- Two-post lifts
- Typically $4,000 to $12,000 installed, depending on capacity (10,000 to 18,000 lb), model and accessories such as stack adapter kits and height extensions.
- Four-post, alignment and in-ground
- Quoted per model and site; alignment racks with rolling jacks and in-ground lifts are generally $10,000 and up installed.
- Deposit
- 50% of equipment at order; balance due on installation. Installation labor, anchoring, sign-off and photos included in the quote.
- Site work
- Electrical, air and concrete work not included unless quoted.
Shop equipment service
- Tire changers and balancers
- Diagnosed on the service call; common repairs (return springs, clamp legs, pedals, valves) usually completed the same visit.
- Exhaust extraction and rolling jacks
- Quoted per system after inspection.
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Government and dealership accounts may be billed Net 30 against a purchase order. Payment methods and terms are on the billing page; cancellations and refunds are covered in the refund and cancellation policy.
